In succession to the extremely successful SIN 2007, the 2nd International Conference on Security of Information and Networks (SIN 2009) provides an international forum for presentation of research and applications of security in information and networks. SIN 2009 conference features contributed as well as invited papers, special sessions, workshops, and tutorials on theory and practice. Its drive is to convene a high quality, well-attended, and up-to-date conference on scientific and technical issues of security in information, networks, and systems.
The main theme of SIN 2009 is Intelligent Systems for Information Assurance, Security, and Public Policy in the Age of e-Euphoria. Conference main theme will be supported by the following keynote papers and talks:
- Bart PRENEEL -- Professor and Head of Computer Security and Industrial Cryptography (COSIC) at Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Leuven, Belgium.
- Vijay Varadharajan -- Professor and Microsoft Chair in Innovation in Computing, and Director of Information and Networked System Security Research, Macquarie University, Australia.
- Elisa Bertino -- Professor of Computer Science and Research Director of the Center for Education and Research in Information Assurance and Security at Purdue University, USA.
- Erdal Cayirci -- Professor, NATO JWC & University of Stavanger, Norway: "Deployed Sensor Networks and Their Security Challenges in Practice".
Future SIN Conferences are scheduled to take place in Russia (2010) and
Australia (2011).
