Atlas Conferences Inc. (Atlas) requires a tacit consent to publish from authors for all abstracts. Atlas considers this consent to be given when an author clicks on the form button indicating that they are finishing their submission.
This consent to publish says that the author grants Atlas their consent to publish the abstract in documents distributed by Atlas. The consent to publish has an unlimited lifetime and cannot be revoked by the author.
The author retains full copyright for the abstract and this copyright will be acknowledged in all documents with abstracts published by Atlas. The author is free to include their abstract in documents submitted to other publishers.
The author has the right to submit revised versions (including a withdrawal) of the abstract. Atlas has the right to choose whether or not to publish the abstract. Conference organizers, not Atlas, are responsible for deciding whether an abstract is included in a conference's academic programme.
Atlas has the right to include (all versions of) each abstract in its database, to index the abstract in all possible ways, and to classify it according to any classification schemes. The abstract and the database in which it is included may be published by Atlas in all media including printed matter, CD-ROM, email distribution, and others which currently exist or might become available in the future.
Atlas collects information on thousands of conferences. Atlas tries to ensure that all this information is accurate at the time of collection. Atlas cannot guarantee the accuracy of the collected information on conferences and our database records should not be considered as definitive or official. Please contact the particular conference organizers for accurate and up-to-date information.
Atlas encourages conference organizers to check and to edit the information in our database. There are online forms for organizers to edit announcements and to submit new announcements. If an organizer uses these forms, this will be acknowledged on our announcements with a "Submitted by" entry.
Conference organizers may ask us to remove announcements from our database.
