Talks: A honory lecture is devoted to the life and work of the famous Chinese mathematician L K. Hua. Further there will be invited plenary lectures (45 minutes) on recent developments in different areas in the field of the conference and short communications on recent research results of participants (20 minutes). There will also be possibilities for poster sessions. Pre-registration: For an optimal organisation we need up to January 30, 2000 an information on the tentative participation. All information should be send to the chair of the conference. Abstracts: Every participant has the chance to give a talk or at least a poster to present his research results to one of the announced topics. The title of the planned contribution is to send by e-mail together with an abstract (approximately 20 lines) in LaTeX before June 30, 2000 to xhji@math03.math.ac.cn (Xinhua Ji) or jryan@comp.uark.edu (John Ryan) or sproessig@math.tu-freiberg.de (Wolfgang Sproessig) Registration fee: It is 200 US dollars.
