WROCLAW UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY INSTITUTE OF MATHEMATICS, WROCLAW, POLAND FIRST ANNOUNCEMENT ---------------------------------------- It is our pleasure to announce The Sixth Conference on Function Spaces which is going to be held in Wroclaw in Poland from Monday the third to Saturday the eighth of September 2001. It is the continuation of the previous five conferences which took place in Poznan. The lectures are to be given in the buildings of the university. The topics are connected with functional analysis, they deal with operators, interpolation, geometry, topology and approximation in function spaces, for instance. The lectures are devided into the invited plenary ones, (about 45 minutes), and short communications, which do not exceed 20 minutes. The proceedings of the conference are going to be published. The conference fee stands at 180 $ and it covers the registration and meals. The accomodation is provided in hotels or in student hotels (about 17 $ per night in single room). More information is to be given in the second announcement. If you are interested in the participation, please fill in the enclosed registration form and post it till the end of January 2001.
